Every year we lose the same knowledge in the same drawers. The almanac is our attempt to print it before it escapes.
What we did
A pocket-sized book: reference tables we actually use, a diary of what we made, and short essays too slight for anywhere else. Set in the house serif, sewn so it opens flat, printed in a run small enough to feel embarrassing to sell.
The outcome
It became the thing people ask for by name. Turns out a physical object with a year on the cover earns a kind of attention a website rarely does — a lesson we keep re-learning.
